As a member of the Petaluma City Council, I will champion solutions that address affordable housing, relieve traffic congestion, support alternative modes of transportation and restore the Petaluma River by dredging it, cleaning it and increasing public access. I want to keep Petaluma a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
I have the skills, knowledge and experience to successfully meet the difficult challenges facing Petaluma today. I worked for 25 years as a professional Urban Planner to successfully integrate commercial growth with community needs. I was also a Planning Commissioner working to ensure that community needs came first. Since moving to Petaluma I have earned a Sustainable Green Practices Certificate and now work as a non-profit consultant to our agricultural community to preserve our agricultural heritage and create a healthy, sustainable local food supply.
I will work to balance City needs while improving Public Safety, city infrastructure and community services. I want to strengthen our community by building crosstown connectors, connected bike lanes and safer sidewalks. I will promote town hall meetings to help build a united community voice.
